Vick: “I found Jesus” … so he says

I should have predicted this one.

If you have not heard, former Atlanta Falcon standout quarterback, Michael Vick, has made it known that he has found Jesus through this whole ordeal. Now, don’t get me wrong, perhaps Vick did in fact find Jesus (whatever that really means), but I can’t help but cringe when this kind of thing happens under these particular circumstances. It kind of reminds me of political figures throwing Jesus’ name out to win some votes. In other words, I questioned the motives.

Why announce at all that you “found” Jesus? For sympathy? It’s possible.
